GOKUL  SHINEKUMAR

Architect , Computational designer and CG Artist

D5 Campus ambassador , Co-Partner Morci , Co-Founder Studio Noric

ABOUT

Ar. Gokul Shinekumar is an architect, computational designer, and high-end CG artist who specializes in the intersection of generative design and cinematic visual storytelling. His approach to architecture is defined by a "symbiotic" philosophy, where technical precision is used to evoke the emotional power of unbuilt spaces.

  • Global Foundations: Gokul’s architectural background is rooted in rigorous computational training, highlighted by an internship at rat[LAB] (London/Delhi). During this time, he was mentored by professionals from the world-renowned Zaha Hadid Architects, gaining a deep mastery of algorithmic thinking and fluid geometries.

  • International Career: He has worked as a CG Artist for diverse firms across the USA and UK, eventually bringing his expertise to global design hubs like Dubai.

  • The Morci Ecosystem: As the Co-Partner of Morci, he leads the studio's vision for sleek, functional innovation. Under Morci Visuals, he handles high-end projects, using tools like Unreal Engine, Blender, Rhino+Grasshopper, and 3ds Max to create hyper-realistic, atmospheric experiences.

  • Official D5 Ambassador: He is an Official D5 Campus Ambassador, a title that grants him exclusive access to official D5 study materials and educational licenses for his students.

  • Proven Mentor: Through Morci Learn, the educational wing of his studio, Gokul has mentored over 200+ students and professionals. He is known for distilling complex, "gold-standard" industrial workflows into accessible, project-based knowledge.

  • Artistic Philosophy: Unlike traditional software instructors, Gokul focuses on the "artistic soul" of a render—teaching students how to use light, texture, and framing to tell a story rather than just displaying a structure.
